Volumetric Weight Calculations   [ back to top ]

Bleu Mannequin Inc. will charge by the greater of the deadweight or the volumetric weight. For regular shippers incorporates a deadweight/volumetric weight calculator.

For Shipments Traveling by Air or ground - multiply the height by the depth by the length (all cm) and divide by 6000. H*D*L / 1728*15

Express
Generally a maximum weight restriction of 30 kilos per item applies, although heavier items can often be accepted. Size restrictions may also apply, please call for further information.
The simplest way to ensure your box fits this service is to measure the length of the two shortest sides and add them together. Then multiply this by two and add the length of the longest side to that figure. If the total of all this adds up to less than 330cms, then your shipment can move. One side must not exceed 274cms. Please call us if your shipment exceeds 330cms.
Generally each item must not exceed 32 kilos and not have one length longer than 274 cms.
We can however move longer / heavier items to certain destinations. Please note the shipment must be able to be turned, i.e. we cannot adhere to ‘This Way Up’ requirements.

Depending on destination, mode of transport and Customs Import restrictions, the following goods may not be acceptable for carriage. Please call for further details.

Documentation   [ back to top ]

An Air waybill must be completed for each shipment. It is essential that area codes (postcodes or zip codes), consignee name and telephone numbers be provided. All addresses must contain street addresses (PO boxes can no be accepted)

Please ensure all parcels are clearly labeled with the full delivery address and air waybill number. Make sure all other addresses are removed from the package! Customers must clearly show which service is required by ticking the relevant box on the air waybill.

If a service box is not ticked Bleu Mannequin Inc. will move the shipment by the fastest possible service and the customer will be charged accordingly.

It is the shipper’s responsibility to provide the correct documentation required. Bleu Mannequin Inc. cannot be held responsible for delays or additional costs associated with incorrect documentation.

Pro-forma / Commercial Invoices   [ back to top ]

In accordance with security regulations, please ensure that all non-document shipments are presented to Bleu Mannequin Inc. with a full and accurate description of the goods on the pro-forma / commercial invoice.
For shipments to destinations please show a description of the contents either on the Air waybill or any accompanying paperwork.

For total peace of mind, you can have insurance for almost any item you wish to ship with us at highly competitive rates.

Customs Duties & Taxes   [ back to top ]

All customs duties and taxes will be charged to the consignee. It is possible, with prior agreement, to have customs duties and taxes charged to the shipper.

Un-Delivered Shipments   [ back to top ]

Please note that if a shipment cannot be delivered within 5 days the consignment will usually be returned to the sender. All charges applicable for the return will be billed to the customer. PLEASE PROVIDE RECEIVERS CONTACT NAMES AND TELEPHONE NUMBERS to minimize any delivery delays.

Quotations & Tariffs   [ back to top ]

Please note discounts do not apply to the special Service. Consignments will be invoiced at the greater of the actual or volumetric weight and/or the greater of any check weight or declared weight.

Bleu Mannequin Inc. will notify the customer of any discrepancies but cannot be held liable should the customer not be notified prior to invoicing.

All transit times quoted are in working days only (except for destinations where the transit times also apply for non-documents).

All transit times are subject to flight availability.
Special deliveries such as Saturday, Same Day, and/or when insurance cover is required. Surcharges may apply to special deliveries unless prior agreements were made.

These conditions limit our liability and contain details on our payment terms (30 days from invoice).
